Title: The Regulating Functions of Judge’s Discourse in Criminal Cases of  China
          Abstract: As part of courtroom discourse,  judge’s discourse in China is important in court proceedings and contributes a  lot to the fair and equitable judicial administration. Taking a systemic functional  approach, this current report pays attention to judge’s discursive regulation  in China’s criminal trials. With the help of UAM corpus tool, it intends to  investigate what are regulated in different stages of courtroom discourse, and  the ways in which the regulations are linguistically realized.
